How Muscle Cam Models Get Paid

Thinking about camming as a female bodybuilder or fitness creator? Here's how the money works, and what to ask any site before you sign up.

Your share is the big number

When a fan spends $10 on a cam site, the site keeps part and the creator gets the rest. That split is called your payout share. Many cam sites start creators somewhere around 40% to 50%, and some raise it as you earn more. A few points can matter a lot. At $1,000 a week in fan spending, 40% is $400, and 67% is $670.

How often you get paid

Sites pay on a schedule, often once or twice a month. Some pay every week or every 2 weeks. Faster payouts mean less waiting and steadier cash. Also ask whether there's a minimum payout, an amount you must earn before they'll send money.

How the money reaches you

Where the money comes from

Most creators earn from a mix of live tips and tip goals, private 1-on-1 shows, group shows, subscriptions to their page, pay-per-view posts, paid messages and video sales. The more of these a site offers, the more ways you have to earn between live shows.

Questions to ask before you join

  1. What percent do I keep, and does it change over time?
  2. How often do you pay, and is there a minimum?
  3. Which payout methods do you offer, and what are the fees?
  4. Can I block my country or state so people I know can't see me?
  5. Is my ID kept private and never shown to fans?
  6. Will I get penalized for legal adult content, or for not doing it?
